# Media Library

<figure><img src="https://3738774261-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-Mikdwm98p33AibfiSqN%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-2078f8de741cffac27265a8814d6f2cbe5e0cfdc%2Fimage.png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The Local Media Library is opened from the Extras panel. Its tabs provide access to media stored on the device:

1. **Local Images** places reference images in the sketch.
2. **Local Videos** places video widgets in the sketch.
3. **Local Models** places imported 3D models.
4. **Background Images** replaces the environment sky with a panoramic image.
5. **Saved Strokes** loads reusable groups of editable brush strokes.

Use the path, **Up** and **Home** controls to [browse folders and subfolders](https://github.com/icosa-gallery/open-brush-docs/tree/master/user-guide/folder-navigation.md). Use the page arrows when the current folder contains more files than fit on one page.

See [Importing Images, Videos and 3D Models](/user-guide/importing-images-videos-3d-models.md) for supported formats and file locations.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.openbrush.app/user-guide/using-the-open-brush-tools-quick-tools-and-menu-panels/extras-panel/media-library.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
